Black Mental Health Symposium (BMHS) Affiliate Program Agreement

By participating in the Black Mental Health Symposium Affiliate Program ("Program"), you ("Affiliate") agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Commission Structure & Payouts

• Commission Rate: Affiliates earn a 20% commission on the net revenue generated from valid, completed registrations made using their unique affiliate link.
• Tracking: Commissions are tracked via cookie technology through our affiliate platform. Cookies have a 60-day tracking window from the time of click.
• Payout Timing & Method: Commissions are reviewed and paid out within 30 days following the conclusion of the event, pending verification against refunds, chargebacks, or administrative cancellations. Payouts are issued via PayPal or Wise to the account details provided in your affiliate portal profile.

2. Promotion & Marketing Guidelines

• Permitted Channels: Affiliates may share their links via personal email lists, social media channels, websites, blogs, and direct professional messaging.
• Prohibited Tactics:
  • Affiliates may not send spam, unsolicited bulk commercial emails, or post links in disruptive online spaces.
  • Affiliates may not run paid search campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) bidding on trademarked terms including "Black Mental Health Symposium," "BMHS," or "LifeSkills Cares, Inc."
  • Affiliates may not misrepresent ticket prices, event details, or available Continuing Education (CE) credits.

3. FTC Compliance

Affiliates must strictly adhere to the FTC guidelines regarding endorsement disclosures, as described in our Affiliate FTC Disclosure Policy. Failure to provide clear disclosure of the affiliate relationship will result in immediate removal from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

4. Self-Referrals

Commissions will not be paid on an Affiliate's own registration ticket unless pre-approved in writing by BMHS management.

5. Program Modification & Termination

BMHS reserves the right to modify commission rates, update terms, or terminate an Affiliate's participation at any time due to violation of these terms or unethical promotional conduct.
