The Black Mental Health Symposium (BMHS) is an annual professional development event dedicated to advancing mental health care in Black communities. Now in its 10th year, BMHS brings together mental health professionals for education, networking, and collaboration.
BMHS 2026 will be held virtually on September 10-11, 2026. As a virtual event, you can participate from anywhere with an internet connection.
BMHS is designed for licensed mental health professionals including psychologists, counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychiatrists, and graduate students in mental health fields.
BMHS welcomes all mental health professionals committed to culturally responsive care for Black communities. Our diverse attendees share a common goal of improving mental health outcomes.
